Where is the configuration stored?
UNIX: ~/.config/PlumeImpactor
Windows: %APPDATA%\PlumeImpactor
What iOS versions does it support?
It should with on iOS 9+, however no guarentees that it would work any lower.
Why is it contacting an external server?
Your credentials is not sent anywhere but Apple. It uses a remote anisette server to fake being a Mac for authentication.
How do I setup automatic app refreshing?
When configuring an app, just press Auto Refresh [BETA] before installing.
How many apps can I sideload?
Free Developer Account
On iOS 7-9–you can sideload unlimited apps. However, on iOS 10+ a free Apple Developer account is limited to 3 sideloaded apps.
Paid Developer Account
No limit.
How much time do the apps last?
Free Developer Account
7 days.
Paid Developer Account
365 days.
How do I enable developer mode?
iOS 16+
On iOS 16+, Apple now requires users to enable “Developer Mode” on their devices in order to allow the sideloading & installation of apps outside of the iOS App Store. To enable Developer Mode go to Settings > Privacy & Security on the iOS device. Scroll down to Developer Mode, and switch it to on.

Can I sideload on my Apple Silicon Mac?
Yes! Impactor supports sideloading on Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 11+. Select [LOCAL] This Mac in the device selection, then do the normal install proceedure. Once finished, the application will appear in /Applications/iOS.
Can I overwrite my current app without removing it?
Yes! In order to accomplish this, you need to sideload the IPA with the same Apple ID that your previously sideloaded app is with. If you manually set a custom bundle ID earlier, use the same ID again.
Can I install pairing files?
Yes! You can list applications in the Utilities page within Impactor, and it will have options to install the pairing file within the app itself.
